    John McCain pumps up Michigan

    By Poor Politics | January 16, 2008 | Trackback

senjohnmccain.jpg Poor Politics .com:  In Howell, Michigan John McCain tells a few jokes before he talks about the Economy. Says: “times are tough!” Climate change among the topics, but doesn’t claim to know if it’s true. The French have 80% of their power generated by nuclear power, it’s safe and we can do it too. John McCain says “Michigan saved the country in World War II and they can do it again now with the new advances in automobiles and fuels such as ethanol and electric powered vehicles!”  John McCain will send Joe Lieberman to the auto show in Detroit as a stand in while Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee attend personally. McCain defended the surge in Iraq from the beginning and has never changed. Now the surge is working. The Greenville, SC news backs McCain.
